Shriya Saran has not had a very successful career in Bollywood. She has done some not so significant roles in flicks like ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’, ‘Mission Istanbul’ and ‘Gali Gali Mein Chor Hai’. Now, she will be seen grooving to a sensuous item song in Sanjay Dutt’s forthcoming ‘Zila Ghaziabad’.
Shriya is quite excited about the song and said at an interview, “I have done an item song in ‘Zilla Ghaziabad’. It is a fun song. Every time I used to see myself on the monitor, I used to think ‘Is that me’? As an actor, it is fun to experiment with your image. I have done many item numbers in the South, but this would be my first in any Hindi film.”
Shriya Saran will next be seen in “Midnight’s Children”, a film adaptation of Salman Rushdie’s 1981 novel of the same name. The film has been written and directed by Deepa Mehta.
