Sugandha Garg is an actress and television anchor. She was born on 13th May, 1984, and is married to Raghu Ram, a judge on all seasons of the MTV reality show ‘Roadies’. Sugandha completed her graduation from Maitreyi College under Delhi University. She was an anchor in an HIV/AIDS awareness programme on DD National many years ago.
Sugandha has appeared in four films till date. In Aamir Khan-produced movie ‘Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na’, she played the role of Shaleen, a part of 6-member gang of college friends. Her role had a lot of depth in it, although it was mostly overshadowed by the lead characters. She played the character of an understanding friend, who could read other’s thoughts very well.
Sugandha appeared in a movie named ‘Let’s Dance’ which released on 19th June, 2009. Her character, Anoushka, was the best friend of Suhani, the lead actress played by Gayatri Patel.
In 2010, she appeared in Karan Johar’s film ‘My Name is Khan’. She played a student reporter who, along with a friend, goes a long way to let the world know about the innocence of Rizwan Khan (played by Shah Rukh Khan).
Sugandha’s next film was ‘Tere Bin Laden’, in which she was seen as a makeup artist, Zoya. Besides this, she worked in the British comedy ‘Mumbai Calling’, as a call center employee, but the film was a failure. She is also hosting “What’s With Indian Men”, which airs on Fox History channel.
