Released in 1997, David Dhawan’s Judwaa did collect good amount at the box office with Salman Khan playing double of alienated twins,Prem and Raja.But to the sequel Saif would be tickling the funny bones.The New Nawab Of Pataudi, Saif Ali Khan has filled in for our Tiger, Salman Khan, in Sajid Nadiawala’s next venture Judwa 2,being directed by Sajid Khan.It is a romantic comedy bringing in together Sajid Khan and Saif for the first time ever.
After a series of role Saif has done in the recent past of the tinsel town, this comic role might prove as a change to the perception by which his audience looks at him.
Sajid being busy with the post-production work of Housefull 2 and the story and screenplay of Ajay Devgn’s next, said that he would get started with Judwaa 2 in few months from now. He also says that it is not apt to call it a sequel to Judwaa as the story differs.
Previously Saif wanted Sajid to direct his home production venture, Illuminati films, but Sajid abnegated the offer silently and said he wanted to work but things didn’t work out. Oh Sajid ! We all know how loyal you are to Sajid Nadiawala, and hence how could you have accepted Saif’s offer.But if it is Sajid Nadiawala’s project,then you can. Hence destiny has it, and these two are all set to work in sync.
Judwaa 2 would hit the screens sometime in 2013. All are ardently waiting to see Saif in a double role gagging.
