Sonakshi Sinha’s item number ‘Chammak Challo Chail Chabeeli’ from Rowdy Rathore bears similarity to Kareena Kapoor’s ‘Chammak Challo’ from ‘Ra.One’ not only in words but also in the fact that the two heroines bear strikingly similar look in a red saree for the song. However, Sonakshi insists that no comparisons should be drawn between the two songs as they are quite different from each other.
“I am not just Chammak Challo, I am also Chail Chabeeli. I would like to say when we had shot for this song, ‘Ra. One’ had not released and we had not seen that ‘Chammak Challo’ in a red saree. It’s just a co-incidence,” says Sonakshi.
“Both the songs are different, it was westernised but our song is full of Indian melody. So you should not compare the two,” she added.
