She is now all geared up to become another Vidya Balan. Balan has gained super duper fame in the world due to her O La La sexy song and the character of Silk Smitha in Ekta Kapoor’s produced and Milan Luthria’s directed The Dirty Picture. Now Veena is on Balan’s footsteps to spread her oomph in the regional flick.There were reports of fetching in Nayanthara and other famed south actresses in the remake but no one showed interest in essaying the role of southern siren Silk Smitha. Even Vidya’s flick turned a bigger blockbuster making mammoth business in India and around the world on box office. In addition, she bagged awards for the Best Actress at all awards’ functions. Recently she was also awarded the National Award for her marvelous performance in The Dirty Picture. Nonetheless no southern beauty attracted to all this and simple refused the offers.
Veena confirmed the news by herself on her Twitter page saying that she got super excited after she was fetched in the south film. She happily announced the she signed The Dirty Picture’s south remake.
But now it is yet to be confirmed whether Malik was roped into to step into the shoes of Vidya Balan to play the character of Silk Smitha or she was chosen for playing the sidekick. Well, whatsoever the role is the fact of the matter is that this Pakistani babe has been speedily getting offers in Bollywood and now from regional cinema as well.
