Jennifer Kotwal represents the young generation of actresses who believe in themselves. The actress started her journey in the acting field, with Sony TV’s hit serial from 90’s Just Mohabbat. Jennifer was born on 14th August 1983 in a Parsi family. Her parents always supported her decision to enter the acting industry, but also insisted on completing formal education. The model turned actress graduated with a degree in Economics from the HR College. She considers education as a backup plan for any newcomer entering the industry. Along with TV shows, she also did modelling at a very young age. She has acted with Shahrukh Khan in an advertisement for a Noodles brand while with Big B; she has acted in a Chyavanprash ad. Recently, her ad for the fashion brand Lakme made her very popular.
Jennifer’s acting career didn’t scale the heights she would have envisaged it to have! She made her acting debut in Subhash Ghai’s Yaadein as a cyclist. Though the role was a minor one, she did impress. After this short stint, she moved to the South Indian film Industry. Her first Kannada film Jogiwith ShivrajKumar was a huge hit. The actress then delivered superb performances in movies such asPrince and Masti. She then moved back into Bollywood to make her fully fledged Hindi movie debut withMudh Mudh Ke Na Dekh Mudh ke alongside Himesh Reshammiya.
Jennifer considers herself as a style diva and tries to set an example for others by setting up fashion trends. She is back into the modelling fold and is doing a lot of films too! Recently she had been plagued by back injury problems, but the actress has now put that behind her. She is working hard to gain a prominent place for herself in the film industry!
