Mumbai: There’s some good news and some bad news! The good news is that Preity Zinta fans, who have been waiting to see her in actions since long, will now finally see her in her home production film. Reports say that she will be making a comeback in her film ‘Ishq In Paris’.
The bad news is that there was a sort of a clash between the titles of Preity’s film, and Yash Chopra’s much awaited film. The latter had been supposedly named ‘London Ishq’, and is currently the talk of the town because of the gorgeous star cast, comprising Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.
The striking similarity of the names of the two films had made Preity quite nervous as she feared that her comeback film might be unnoticed by audiences, even though it would be releasing before the Yash Chopra film. However, officials at the Yash Raj Films have denied any such title of the film, saying that it is not titled ‘London Ishq’ and that they are yet to hit upon a final name for the film.
People are way too curious about Chopra’s film since he is directing one after seven long years and also because one will see Shah Rukh pair up with Katrina for the first time ever. There was also news that the film will be a remake of the 1973 film ‘Daag’ starring Rajesh Khanna, Sharmila Tagore and Rakhi Gulzar. But Yash Chopra claims that the film will be a ‘classical love story’ with the use of contemporary language.
The denial from YRF has given Preity much relief, but it has made Chopra-SRK-Katrina fans waiting for the final title of the film! Time will tell what the film will be called, but as of now, they have to be content with just the few released stills from the film.
