Lyricist : Prasoon Joshi

Romantic films have always been the central focus of Bollywood industry since the inception of the Indian filmdom. The trend is strong even in today’s time as well due to the fact that the audiences love watching the romantic stuff on celluloid. Whenever a movie is visualized by the filmmaker, the initial concept hits the mind is about making a romantic film. Why? Obviously, because it is a time and tested formula to make a successful movie on. But not every romantic movie runs at the box office – the ones which do well at the ticket window are the ones which carry good content. Kunal Kohli too makes his journey of Teri Meri Kahaani with a subject of romance but the man brings an innovative plot to churn out a different film for the entertainment of the audiences.

Kohli’s Teri Meri Kahaani revolves around three different eras – 1910, 1960 and 2012. No doubt, it is a unique idea ever used in Hindi cinema. It is pleasing for the masses. The movie has been making bigger ripples among the Hindi film lovers and without any single doubt, the movie’s curiosity was high with the moviegoers due to the subject matter only. In addition to the story, Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra’s pairing too developed the liking for the movie.

Kunal Kohli’s film career has been goo so far though two of his directed movies – Mujhse Dosti Karogee and Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic could not make any mark with the cine-lovers. But rest of his films did remarkably well at the box office letting the world know his creativity as a luminous director.

With Teri Meri Kahaani, Kunal once again shows the world his dexterity of being a brilliant storyteller. He brings up the unique story idea to chew up a movie. The film has potential to bind the viewers to the screen till the last frame. The screenplay and direction have power to allure the viewer. Kunal’s Teri Meri Kahaani is a triple-treat tale of romance that knits the three stories spanning over three different eras into one single film.

Teri Meri Kahaani is a saga of the journey of eternal love between a couple who raised claims to be in love with each other not only in this life but in each and every life to come up. The love between the couple is much strapping that the fate is bound to bring them together. In 1910, amidst the freedom movement in Punjab, Javed (Shahid Kapoor), a Muslim boy starts loving crazily to Aaradhana (Priyanka Chopra). In 1960, Govind (Shahid Kapoor), a music composer, loses his heart to the successful actress Rukhsar (Priyanka Chopra). In present time (2012), the love story moves to England where the love takes place between Radha (Priyanka) and Krissh (Shahid). Is it a destiny or what that the couple meets in three different eras to rekindle their love but the couple fails to take their love to conclusiveness? Will the love win over destiny?

The story idea is really catchy and unique – Kunal Kohli deserves brawny marks for it. Screenplay by Robin Bhatt is exceptional though somewhere in between the pace of the movie gets lethargic such as in 2012’s story, the saga begins to be idle for the viewer soon but then gets momentum later.

Kunal Kohli’s direction is first rate. The adroit filmmaker has executed the story brilliantly on celluloid. Sunil Patel’s cinematography is a class to watch it. Editing is awesome. Sajid-Wajid’s music is spongy. The tracks like ‘Allah Jaane’ and ‘Mukhtsar’ are mind boggling and make brilliantly soothing hearing.

Shahid Kapoor delivers the goods with such finesse that the viewers will surely like his acting in this movie. The three characters were performed with luminosity by him. In particular, he looks much handsome in the role of Javed. Shahid may now dream of winning the trophies for his marvelous piece of acting.

Priyanka Chopra is a delicious treat to watch. She too does fine job by enacting the three characters with conviction. Her role of a Punjabi girl will be liked more by the audiences. She is a classy actress of today’s Bollywood time – there is no doubt about it.

Prachi Desai looks stunning in cameo role. Neha Sharma goes well with the role. Surendra Pal is appealing.

Rowdy Rathore Is A Complete Winner At The Box Office : The Review

An air of unabashed, if generally harmless, imbecility pervades Rowdy Rathore. With very little substance to play around with, the film spreads itself dangerously thin. But even when it teeters on the brink of snapping point, it hurtles along like an armoured vehicle on four flat tyres. It makes much din but covers little ground.

Let’s hand it to director Prabhu Deva. He throws every trick that he knows in the book into this predictable remix of a Telugu hit – song, dance, crass humour, romance, thunderous action and a fearless supercop out to outsmart a bunch of murderous marauders.

It’s the good old unstoppable all-or-nothing approach. Prabhu Deva obviously has no faith in any form of subtlety. He goes the whole hog and revels in unbridled excess every step of the way.

Actually, for a film of this kind, a cross between Dabangg and Singham with stray traces of Agneepath, over-the-top methods are par for the course. Some of them do pass muster.

Jism 2 Movie Hot Scenes, Pictures and Video

A movie that has created thunderstorms even before it went on floors, a film that has rocked the entire nation with the producer signing up an Indo-Canadian adult film star, that too live on National Television has emerged as  the talk of the town now. A sequel to the much successful John Abraham- Bipasha Basu starrer erotic thriller ‘Jism’, ‘Jism 2′ has Sunny Leonne of Bigg boss 5 fame pairing up with the unconventionally sexy and raunchy Randeep Hooda. The film, which marks the return of Pooja Bhatt into direction, after a sabbatical is now being shot extensively in Goa and is slated for a release later this year.

Rowdy Rathore Box Office Collections – Reports and Earnings

Earnings of Rowdy Rathore on Day 1 is 14.50 crores

And yes you now get to see Akhshay Kumar in a completely new avatar. Some say it is somewhat close to Akshaya’s Khiladi look however we find his act in Rowdy Rathore to be plane simple raw. The raw look seems bound to leave quite an impact and with the IPL season over and no other good movie in sight Rowdy Rathore is sure to be a bang on hit.

The movie has already received an amazing start in most parts of the countries. Housefull multiplexes and single screen theaters present the whole story. It seems the movie is doing better business in single screen theaters than in multiplexes. Single screen theaters in UP and Delhi say a 85% plus occupancy rate on day 1. The entire northern Indian region sees a similar fate. Down south and Maharashtra the movie is going a bit slow with an average of 65% occupancy rate. However, the figures are only expected to improvise by the weekend.

After opening to a huge response on day 1 it seems the movie did better than most of us anticipated. Day 1 Box Office Collections of Rowdy Rathore stands strong at 14.50 crores. It’s been quite sometime since we saw a movie do that well. Akshay Khiladi Kumar rekindles magic yet again.

Bebo has planned many trips to Istanbul to be with Saif while he shoots for ‘Race 2.

It looks like neither hectic schedule nor long distances can be a deterrent to Bollywood's 'it' couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor.

According to the grapevine, when Bebo realized that Saif would be away on a shoot for the upcoming action-thriller ‘Race 2’ for about 45 days in Istanbul, she decided to adjust her own schedule so that she could be with her beau.

A source revealed to a tabloid that Bebo’s plan was to quickly finish the shooting deadlines for her forthcoming venture ‘Heroine’ and then fly to Istanbul every 15 days so that she could spend quality time with Saif.

It's also being said that Saif’s mother Sharmila Tagore is busy planning a grand wedding ceremony for her son after the end of summer. There have also been several reports suggesting that the families of the couple have already started ordering wedding ensembles from designer Ritu Kumar. Neverthless, the couple has so far kept mum about any news relating to the wedding.

Dirty Picture Caught In A ‘Dirty’ Fight

Leela Samson, the chairperson of the Censor Board complained that the producer and the lobby of The Dirty Picture is pressurising the council while the Balaji producer did not deny the accusation.

The entire mudslinging started when the Censor Board decided to stop the much awaited telecast of The Dirty Picture a few hours before the scheduled time, which was 12 pm on April 22.

The Censor Board has been the target of much criticism and disapproval since then. The CBFC chairperson Leela Samson and the CEO Mrs Pankaja Thakur had arrived in Mumbai for a conference to clarify things and discuss controversial issues like certification of films, showing smoking in films and censoring sexual content in films. Together they tried to defend the CBFC but at the same time managed to make a few remarks about the connections and dirty play present in the industry today.

Leela Samson said that the Dirty Picture lobby has been trying its best to pressurise the Censor Board and the industry should be more vocal about the implementation of the cinematograph act if it wants a new one. Pankaja Thakur took a more diplomatic stance and said that the Information and Broadcasting Ministry will be contacted to decide the issue involving the Dirty Picture and its producer, Ekta Kapoor.

The Censor Board officials have definitely not been able to accept the kind of criticism and opposition that it has been receiving through the social networking sites ever since they decided to stop the premiere of the movie on television.

Tanuj Garg , CEO of Balaji had said on April 22 that the way the premiere was stopped in spite of the production company having procured a lawful censor certificate was disheartening. He went on to complain that they had been purposely victimised and this kind of treatment had not been meted out to any other film or production company.

Garg did not change his stance when we contacted him yesterday and refused to acknowledge the existence of any lobby. He said that the Censor Board was mistaking the unconditional support given by the industry as lobbying. He continued to say that the industry acknowledges that injustice had been done with the film and the fact that it could happen to any other movie. According to him it is natural to feel concerned and anxious about the situation.

Anupam Kher, who used to be the chairperson of CBFC too denied the existence of any lobby within the industry. Ekta Kapoor, on the other hand deliberately accepted that she can yield much power in today’s industry. Not only did she admit of a lobby working on her behalf but also said that Ramesh Sippy and Mahesh Bhatt had a talk with the Information and Broadcasting Ministry. She said that she expected the ministry to be more considerate and understanding than the Censor Board and resove the issue soon.

JANNAT 2 babe Esha turns cop for CHAKRAVYUH

After her hot and sizzling debut in JANNAT 2, Esha Gupta plays the role of an IPS officer in Prakash Jha's CHAKRAVYUH.

Buzz is that Esha's role in the film has been inspired by Kiran Bedi. The actress, who played a glamorous role and was Emraan Hashmi's love-interest in JANNAT 2, will be seen in a de-glam role in the film as she plays a cop.

Chakravyuh is set against the backdrop of the Naxal movement and Esha Gupta has many scenes where she will be interacting with Om Puri in the film. The actress has many dialogues in chaste Hindi for her scenes with Om Puri.

Esha was given instructions by director Prakash Jha that she will have to learn her dialogues thoroughly. Since it is a hard hitting role and her second film, Esha too is excited and is making sure that she leaves no stone unturned as far as her role is concerned.

Jannat 2 Box Office Collections – Reports and Earnings

Expected Earnings of Jannat 2 on Day 1 should be about 11 crores

Jannat 2, as expected, has managed to bag a bumper opening for itself. The initial report coming in, stated that the average occupancy was somewhere in the region 70-80%. If the trend continues, the movie is all set to rank itself as one of the highest earners of 2012.

Turnout was a bit on the lower side for multiplexes as compared to single screens. This is expected to improve though; over the weekends.

Super star-cast, chart topping music and well marketed promotion, has enabled Jannat 2 to garner such a grand opening. The hype and positive word-of-mouth publicity; are also expected to assist the film over the next few weeks. The release of YRF banner movie Ishaqzaade next Friday is not bound to create any sort of obstacle for Jannat 2.

Bhatt Camp has released both movies of the Jannat series around the IPL time. By the look of things, it’s safe to say that both the movies will emerge as super-hits. The confidence shown by the Bhatt’s in both these movies, has worked; and Jannat 2 may even go on to gross more than its prequel. It’s safe to assume that Jannat 2 will emerge as one of the highest earners of this year.

Tezz Box Office Collections – Reports and Earnings Read more

Earnings of Tezz as of 29th April 2012 is 11 crores

Despite having a noteworthy star-cast, Tezz failed to garner any significant response at the Box office. The movie opened to an estimated response of 30-35% occupancy all over. Reports were better for single screens, while the movie failed to captivate a decent opening at the multiplexes.

The movie has also received negative reviews from the critics as well as audiences alike, hampering its chances of succeeding even further! The movie has had a very high production budget and it is unlikely that the makers would even recuperate that cost. Even if the response gets better over the weekends, it will not be enough to save the blushes of the film.

The film had a bankable cast with a fiery action theme, which doesn’t appear to have attracted audiences’ attention. There were other controversies between director Priyadarshan and the producer of the movie regarding Mallika Sherawat’s item number, but it appears to have made no difference at the end of the day.

Verdict is that Tezz will struggle badly at the box office, as other factors are also against its run! IPL season coupled with some big releases in the forthcoming weeks has made the job even more difficult. The film is expected to sink without a trace!

It seems the movie has turned out to be one of the biggest recent flops. Day 1 box office collections for Tezz was merely 3.50 crores. With minimal occupancy in most of the theaters, the other release Avengers seems to have made life tough for Tezz. Day 2 box office collections for Tezz showed no improvement with 3.55 crores. Sunday showed a little higher occupancy but Avengers was going houseful again and the box office collection for Sunday is not expected to be more than 4 crores. This takes the 1st week domestic box office collection of Tezz to about 11 crores. The movie is also expected to collect a couple crores at the overseas box office. However, with the huge footfall in Avengers Tezz is only supposed to face an unfortunate and premature death. It seems the huge expectations of the makers are only going to fall flat.

ezz (2012) Movie Review – Details

Movie Title – Tezz
Star Cast – Ajay Devgan, Anil Kapoor, Mohanlal, Kangna Ranaut, Sameera Reddy, Boman Irani and Zayed Khan.
Director – Priyadarshan
Producer – Ratan Jain
Music Director – Sajid – Wajid

For a change Priyadarshan is directing an action thriller. This Ajay Devgan and Anil Kapoor starrer is revolves around the bullet train hijacking in which southern superstar Mohanlal Plays a dutiful cop of the Scotland Yard Police with Ajay Devgan and Anil Kapoor in the pivotal roles. Kangana Ranaut plays Ajay Dengan’s wife in the movie. Boman Irani and Zayed Khan play important roles too.
But the one to be talked about here is Sameera Reddy. She plays the role of bar dancer in the movie and so she has been credited with an item number in this movie. Sameera believes and hopes to break new grounds with this movie. She believes that the audiences will appreciate her acting in the character of a bar dancer. She claims that she has done anything like this for the first time in her career and that she had a lot of fun doing it.
Tezz was earlier titled as ‘Bullet Train’, as the whole story revolves around a bullet train. Most parts of the movie have been shot in London, Birmingham and Glasgow. This film has vivid action sequences and uses a lot of technologies, the parkour technology being one of them; to make it appealing and thrilling. The action sequences of this movie have been choreographed by Gareth Milne and Peter Pedrero, stunt co-coordinators of the movies ‘The Bourne Ultimatum’ and ‘The Bourne Supremacy’ respectively. So this film can be expected to be an action packed one with really good action sequences. Well we can atleast hope so the truth will only be revealed once the movie is released.
Though the movie has already been completed, Priyadarshan has delayed the release of the film as he did not want it to clash with Imtiaz Ali’s Rockstar. It will now release on 26th January 2012 alongside Hrithik Roshan’s Agneepath. Well Agneepath surely is one of the most awaited films releasing next year, so will Priyadarshan’s Tezz stand a chance against it? That is yet to be seen. For now everything seems to be good, the movie Tezz has well know actors and a decent topic, let’s see what happen once released.

Jannat 2 Hot Pictures and Wallpapers

Jannat 2 has been steadily soaring up the popularity charts. The movie has managed to stay in the limelight for one reason or another! The official trailer of the movie has been well received by the audience and the music has also been appreciated. Signs look positive for this sequel of the super-hit Jannat.
Prachi Desai and Jacqueline Fernandez were approached to play the female lead role. Both actresses refused, as the role required extensive skin show. It is reported that Sajid Khan told Jacqueline that she would get type-casted in such bold roles, prompting the actress to refuse the role. The role ultimately fell in the lap of 2007 Miss India International winner, Esha Gupta. Randeep Hooda, who essayed a brilliant role in the recently released Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster, enacts the character of a cop this time.
Bhatt Camp had first kept the names Informer and then Blood Money, both of which didn’t appeal. The movie was then slated to be a sequel to Jannat.  The filming of the movie finished on January 17th 2012 and the first look of the movie was released on 15th of March 2012.
The issue of Jannat 2 is markedly different to its prequel.  While the first instalment of the series was based on the issue of Cricket betting, Jannat 2 has a plot based on the illegal arms dealing in the Delhi locality.

Vishesh Films will be hoping to strike it big again after their recent success Blood Money. A report of fallout between Mahesh Bhatt and nephew Emraan Khan has also created decent hype for the movie. Whether that is a publicity stunt or a genuine problem, nobody knows!

.Hate Story Box Office Collections – Reports and Earnings

Expected Earnings of Hate Story as of 2oth April 2012 is 1.30 Crores

The Bhatt Camp’s name has for quite some time now been synonymous with creating steamy films. Hate Story, the latest venture of the Bhatt’s share a same story. Creating quite a stir with its bold posters and promos tha movie finally hit the theaters today. Thanks to its content it is sure to attract quite some people to both multiplexes and theaters. The story of a lady on the vengeance route, Hate Story brings to light Paoli Dam in a bold role.

Compared to the other movie released this Friday, i.e. Vicky Donor, Hate Story is expected to do way better. You might remember the last time two talked about movies released on the same Friday, i.e., Jodi Breakers and Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya. Both the movies ate up on the business of each other but Tere Naal Love HO Gaya ultimately emerged as the winner. It seems Hate Story is going to emerge the winner this time except for Northern India where the local connect will help Vicky Donor do a bit better.

We predict a 8-9 crores nett 1st week box office collections. The first week is likely to make a total of 12-13 crores. Overall the lifetime collections should be in the range of 18-19 crores.

The first day morning box office opened with a 15-20% occupancy rate and the same went on to around 45% average occupancy in the evening. It seems Hate Story did better on the single screen theaters when compared to the multiplexes. Metros saw a poor collection but small towns did a pretty decent business with this film. The movie is expecting a good Saturday-Sunday collections. It will be crucial to decide the fate of the film at the Indian box office. First day box office collections of Hate Story is expected to be around 1.30 crores. Let’s see what Saturday has in store for it.

Chaar Din Ki Chandni Box Office Collections – Reports and Earnings

Earnings of Chaar Din Ki Chandni as of 16th March 2012 is INR 6.11 crores

‘Chaar Din Ki Chandni’ released on 8th March on the occasion oh Holi, but it failed to come out with flying colors at the box office. The film has garnered poor opening and is growing poorer with every passing show.

In Delhi, the film is doing better at the single screen theatres, but not multiplexes, partly because of the other release this week, ‘Kahaani’.

In Punjab, however, there was a different scene. There was an occupancy of around 20-30% and it is expected that the attractive star cast will help to improve collections.

In Calcutta, Kahaani is doing way better at 50% collections, but Chaar Din Ki Chandni is stuck at lower than 10%.

In most other cities, the film recorded miserable collections, dropping to as low as 10%. In Gujarat, the film managed to gather just Rs 10 lacs approx, but it is doubtful to show any signs of improvement.

The film is essentially a romantic comedy, but it fails to tickle at the ribs of people because of poor dialogues and pathetic screenplay. All in all, the film has had a poor opening and is expected to fade away during the week.

Coming to the figures the movie made a decent 60 lacks by means of paid previews on Thursday. It made a bit lesser than the other release Kahaani even though it released on more screens that that of the later. Some of the cities it did best business in are as follows:

Mumbai – 23 lakhs

Delhi/UP – 14 lakhs

East Punjab – 9.5 lakhs

CP Berar – 2 lakhs

Come Friday and the movie showed some growth. The growth though was not good enough when compared to the other release Kahaani but what else do you expect of a Tusshar Kapoor starrer. The territorial breakdown of the Friday business for Chaar Din Ki Chandni is as follows:

Mumbai – 38 lakhs

Delhi/UP – 22 lakhs

East Punjab – 10 lakhs

CI – 5 lakhs

Rajasthan – 6 lakhs

The net box office collection for this film including the paid previews stands at about 1.75 crores. Let’s see what good the weekend does to this flick. Considering the positive reviews of Kahaani it however seems little hope that the movie will make a decent amount even this weekend.

Updates:

Seems the movie did not have any luck at par with the other release Kahaani. The movie has done an below average business and seems to have added yet another flop to the flop list of Tusshar Kapoor. The first weekend collection of the film stands at a mere 3.50 to 3.75 crores. Let’s see if the movie even touches the 10 crore mark this week. Box office collections are only expected to drop thanks to the emerging hit Kahaani.

The movie dropped in a devastating fashion in the 2nd week. With a total domestic collection of 5.16 crores nett and an overseas collection of 00.95 crores, the movie closed down at a total collection of 6.11 crores. This movie sure added another name to the long flop list of Tusshar Kapoor.

Music Review –Vicky Donore

Movie: Vicky Donor

Music Critique : Rachna Srivastava

Directed by: Shoojit Sircar

Produced by: John Abraham

Music Director: Abhishek-Akshay, Donn-Bann, Rochak Kohli and Ayushmann

Lyricist: Kusum Verma, Vijay Maurya, Ayushmaan Khurrana, Juhi Chaturvedi and Swanand Kirkire

Singers: Akshay Verma, Aditi Singh Sharma, Clinton Cerejo, Ayushmann Khurrana, Vishal Dadlani, Sunidhi Chauhan, Bann, Mika and Sukanya Purkayastha

Release Date: 20th April,2012

This particular flick is all about debuting – Hotshot John Abraham wearing the Producers Hat for the first time; Desi VJ Ayushmaan Khurrana’s first Bolly Cine; bringing the freshness to the musical aspect, are the Music Duo Abhishek-Akshay and it is the first-ever film of the tinsel town to have been made on sperm donation and infertility, which is still considered a taboo in our oh-so-developing country, India. It is also a movie with some newbies taking the mike and also penning down the lyrics. It has been composed by the collective efforts of five people and also the lyrics have been co-written.

Vicky Donor has quite an aweless subject but is presented along with a comic twist and Ayushmaan being a youth icon pays off really well. There were raised eyebrows with John not playing the lead and the film being made on such a subject, to this John casually replied stating that he wanted to create quality content he believed in, in his baby production and on the subject being risky he commented that it was a rom-com flick of a Punjabi boy and Bengali girl, revolving around sperm donation. Director Shoojit Sircar had done a great deal of homework on Sperm donation and infertility and also had consulted several medical experts and donors, prior to making of the film for almost three years. It is also said that there was a medical advisor inducted for the film.

Debutants Abhishek-Akshay, have done a decent job and the music is filled with freshness and callowness. Ayushman,Donn-Bann and Rochak Kohli, have also chipped in a fair share to the candor. Rum Whiskey is already making people groove, and much talked about is Pani Da Rang sung by debutant Ayushmaan himself.

Housefull 2 Box Office Collections – Reports and Earnings

Earnings of Housefull 2 as of 7th April 2012 is 28 crores.

One of the most awaited films of 2012, Housefull 2 hits the theaters today. Makers of the sequel to Houseful 1 are quite confident that the movie will do exceptionally better than its previous part. Packed with star figures, foot tapping numbers, and the uncanny humor, the movie is sure to bring houses down. With the huge promotional activity that the production team did it is only natural that the movie will show a good opening at the Indian box office.

Another factor which might actually work for the film is the fact that none of the movies post the release of Kahaani did any good at the box office. From the looks of it a lifetime collection of about 100 crores is a certainty. Thanks to the popularity of the name of the franchise and the star cast the opening week collection should be nothing less than a good 40 crores. Opening day collection of over 15 crores is expected as of now.

The movie released in about 2700 screens which is not just a huge figure but perhaps one of the largest releases ever. It only has movies like Ra.One and Bodyguard to compete with it on the number of screens it released on.

Housefull 2 had a pretty good opening at multiplexes all over the country. It collected about 70-75% on an average in India. There were cities in the North India where the movie even opened at about 100% occupancy. Cities like Gujrat, Punjab and Rajasthan showed over 80% occupation rates whereas Maharastra and other South Cities showed about 50-60% occupancy. One can thus conclude that the movie had a pretty nice opening all over the country.

The movie has even showed a decent promise at the overseas box office too. It seems the movie is going to have a huge weekend. This comes as a relief to the Indian film industry which had not been seeing any good earners for a long time now.

So the official figures are finally out and the movie did make a good 13.95 crores on day one. Day two’s early estimate as of now is 14 crores. We predict Sunday to earn about 18 crores. The total domestic collection of the movie is thus expected to be around 45-46 crores. Since the movie also did well at the overseas box office around 12 crores is expected from the same. The total world wide collection for the movie’s first weekend should be around 66-67 crores.

Keep visiting this space to stay updated on the box office reports of Housefull 2: The Dirty Dozen.

First Look: Dangerous Ishhq..

The first look of Karisma Kapoor’s comeback film Dangerous Ishhq released today.

Excited about the promo launch, Karisma said, “I don’t know the fate of the movie. We have worked really hard. Making a 3D film is not exactly easy. The promos have come out really exciting.”

Blood Money Box Office Collections – Reports and Earnings

Estimated Earnings of Blood Money as of 30th March 2012 is 50 lacks

Kunal Deshmukh’s Blood Money sees the light of day today along with another flick BUMBOO. Though the Bhatt Camp left no stone unturned to promote their venture the movie looks a bit Wishy-Washy. The reasons are quite predictable. The Bhatt Camp missed out on 2 of their most essential ingredients for success: 1) The serial Kisser Emraan Hashmi and 2) The Musical Magic of the Bhatt Camp. Now, the Bhatt’s should have never taken a chance without their magic mantra. Let’s see what the outcome of this experiment is.

Having said all this Blood Money is still expect to outlive the other release this week, i.e. BUMBOO. However, we cannot rule out the presence of the Vidya Balan starrer Kahaani which is still going strong at the Box Office and also Saif’s home production Agent Vinod which seems to be performing decently. These two are sure to have an averse effect on the box office collection of Blood Money.

The movie as we see it will not make more than a staggering 20-25 crores net in its lifetime collection worldwide. Opening day collections are expected to be around 55-60 lacks. Keep visiting for more updates.

Hate Story – sexual content to fetch the viewers

Mumbai: Vikram Bhatt’s Hate Story grabs the attention of almost all the moviegoers and the film is also abuzz in the entertainment circles and this all due to the jaw dropping promos of the flick. The nudity and the coarse language which have been used in the movie too appear to be the shock value for many.

The bare back girl in the poster of the film had raised many eyebrows and the curiosity level of the cine-goers has reached to heights. The publicity gimmick worked big time for the makers and then they revealed the identity of the lass. She is Poali Dam, the hot bombshell of the tinsel town.

Nikhil Diwedi essays the lead character in the movie. He feels reluctant about disclosing the movie. When asked whether he is reluctant to chip in about the flick due to the high dose of sexual content in the movie? He said nothing like that rather he was busy with the last leg of the film ‘Tamanchey’. Nikhil then said that Hate Story’s biggest buzz and the response from the masses have made him quite excited. Diwedi uttered that the promos of the film have been doing the apt job to make it more popular among the audiences who are the actual king on whom the film’s business is based.

Nikhil revealed that though the film was a women-centric, he did it for an emotional reason. Nikhil Diwedi signed it because of Vikram Bhatt since he was to make his Bollywood debut with Bhatt’s film but things for some reasons could not happen. Thus now he finds this opportunity beneficial so he inked the deal. Nikhil adds that he also got an opportunity to work with the director Vivek Agnihotri.

Hate Story is creating biggest buzz in the media and for its sexual content, it will fetch the viewers in theaters.

Housefull 2 – No Bikini Scenes

Mumbai: And the sequel to Housefull is here. And apparently there aren’t any bikini scenes! That will definitely disappoint a lot of young viewers, who usually expect some amount of skin show from Sajid Khan’s movies! Jokes apart, it is supposed to be a family movie. The story revolves around the Father- Daughter relationship and friendship between four men. Considering the four leading ladies in the movie Asin, Jacqueline Fernandez, Zarine Khan and Shazahn Padamsee , the audience was definitely awaiting for some hot scenes from these gorgeous actresses. But Asin confirmed saying that there weren’t any bikini scenes as there was absolutely no need in the script for any of them to wear a bikini. Disappointing, but a fact… However, it will be a treat to see how Sajid Khan tries to make a family movie because some or almost all his movies have jokes that are adult. Come on! Don’t we all know that! The actors in this movie are Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, John Abraham and Shreyas Talpade. From the cast, I guess it becomes very clear of what we as an audience can expect from the movie. Leave your brains at home, and go watch the movie, and you shall be entertained! That should do.

No Bikini scenes plus the line of actors. Well, we as an audience sincerely wish that this movie isn’t a let down like some other Sajid Khan productions. That would hurt us. Well, sarcasm aside, let us just hope that too many cooks don’t spoil the broth. Lets just sit back and wait and WATCH.

The name of the movie is actually “Khiladi 786 Made in Punjab” and it is the brainchild of Himesh Reshammiya. While Akshay Kumar plays the lead role in “Khiladi 786”, Himesh Reshammiya has an equal important role to play. In Khiladi 786, Himesh Reshammiya plays the role of a Gujarati man named Mansukh.

Himesh Reshammiya has a supposedly dominant presence in this movie. Besides playing a major role in this film, Himesh Reshammiya is the co producer of “Khiladi 786” along with Akshay Kumar, the story writer of the film and also its music director. It has been a good 12 years since Akshay Kumar became a Khiladi when he acted in the film Khiladi 420 that was released in the year 2000. And now after more than a decade Akki is again set to don the Khiladi label.

Other than Akshay Kumar and Himesh Reshammiya, “Khiladi 786” also has veteran actor Paresh Rawal who plays the role of Champaklal. Actors Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal had together been part of many highly successful ventures. Together they also have quite a few number of comedy films in their kitty. The success of “Khiladi 786” will depend much on how the movie goers accept the pairing of Akshay Kumar-Paresh Rawal and also that of Akshay Kumar-Himesh Reshammiya.

Akshay Kumar had previously sung for the films like “Singh is Kinng” (2008) and “Chandni Chowk to China” (2009). He will be heard singing once again in his upcoming film “Khiladi 786 Made in Punjab”. The actor will render his voice to a song that will be picturised on him. While Akshay Kumar was pretty apprehensive of the idea of singing, he agreed to render his voice the moment he got to hear the music that had elements of hip-hop in it.

“Khiladi 786 Made in Punjab” will see Ileana D’Cruz as the female lead. This will be the second Bollywood film for the Kollywood actress who is all set to appear in Anurag Basu’s “Barfee”. The music rights of “Khiladi 786” have been sold to HR Musik, the music label of Himesh Reshammiya.

Will the movie goers accept the pairing of Akshay Kumar and Himesh Reshammiya? Will the chemistry between Akshay Kumar and Ileana D’Cruz work? Wait till the end of this year and find out for yourself.
