The actress attended the gala L’Oreal amfAR party on May 24.

Describing her outfit, Ash wore a burnt orange full sleeves blouse, with a little of red and green, here and there. The white chikankari sari was way beyond beautiful. Aishwarya Rai completed her look with minimal makeup, tied hair do with a thin golden band adorning her head. She looked classy and elegant.

The bash was filled with stars from all over. The bash was held to raise money for AIDS research, at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France.

Aishwarya looked awesome and definitely lived up to her fans expectations.

The second look of the beauty queen was when she attended a media call, in a breezy Angelo Katsapis shaded dress. She yet again looked stunning. Perfect choice for a bright sunny day.

Abhishek Bachchan admits now he sleeps away from Aishwarya Rai

Mumbai: Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai are the proud parents of a cute baby girl who is now over six months. She has at last been named Aaradhya though Bachchans still did not make it official. Half the year has gone by after the birth of the baby girl and Abhishek Bachchan now admits to a leading daily that he has been sleeping in another room since the birth of the daughter. He reveals that mother (Aishwarya Rai) and daughter Aaradhya sleep in different room. Talking all this, Abhi was much excited. His expressions were showing how much he loves the little cute baby girl who has been added to their family. He loves cherishing this gift of God.

Abhishek admits further that now he has to do more hard work to get Aishwarya’s attention since she is all the time busy with the daughter being a real caring mother. Initially Abhishek used to get disturbed when the baby started crying in the middle of night and Ash would take her away in another room so that he can sleep. Now he says that he has become used to this happening at his home.

Abhi says that he can now play with the daughter and he loves doing so. Abhishek’s movies, post the birth of the baby, have not been well-received at the box office but he is adamant to make his mark and prove his mettle. He is a good actor and he can allure the audiences. Aishwarya Rai has gained much weight post the delivery and now she is on way to reduce the kilos from the body as she is to return to the cinematic world again.

The 38-year-old has decided to attend the American Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR) dinner and an after-party representing a cosmetic brand to help raise funds in the fight against AIDS.

The new mommy recently spoke to the media and said that she was proud to have represented India at the international film forum for 11 years and that she was very happy to lend her support to create awareness and raise funds for the prevention of AIDS. amfAR is one of the world's leading non-profit organisations dedicated to support the AIDS research, HIV prevention, treatment, education and the advocacy of sound AIDS related public policy.

Apart from Ash, Alec Baldwin, Diane Keaton, Berenice Bejo, designer Karl Lagerfeld, Gwen Stefani, Mila Jovovich are some of the other celebrities expected to be present at the amfAR dinner.

On her returning to the silver screen, husband Abhishek Bachchan says, “As and when she wants to come back, is completely her decision. As and when she decides, when she sees a script she is inspired by – the decision is entirely hers.”

Aishwarya's fake passport found!

In a raid by the special operations group (SOG) at a Vadodara residence, officials found an unexpected document amongst other fake papers.

As the officials were raiding the house of one Premchandra Khandelwal after a tip-off, they came across a forged passport in the name of
Bollywood actor Aishwarya Rai, according to media reports. The fake passport mentions Aishwarya Rai's passport number, photo, date of birth and birth place.

The photocopy also mentions that the passport was renewed on May 2, 2006. The police are now investigating the matter to find out how the accused got a copy of the actor's passport.

Four persons were arrested during the raid for allegedly using fake documents to send people abroad.

Aishwarya Rai leaves with daughter for Dubai

Mumbai: Aishwarya Rai and her baby went to Dubai yesterday to attend the Dubai World Cup for horse race. This is the first international trip to the baby girl of Aishwarya Rai. The name of the baby is Aaradhya Bachchan and this was disclosed when they applied for baby’s passport. The trip is of three days and she will return to Mumbai on Sunday.

Abhishek Bachchan could not make it due to the acting assignments thus Aishwarya went with her mother, PR Manager and nanny. The horse race is called the fanciest one which is rated very high in the world. A luxury hotel has been booked for Aishwarya and her entourage. Ash was invited there to promote the brand. While she is outside to attend the event, her baby will be looked after by her maternal grandmother and nanny.

Since this is the first international trip for the little baby, Aishwarya took every precaution very carefully. As the baby girl is only five months old, Ash did not want to take any risk thus she did not leave her behind rather took her along to international trip. She is still nursing her baby. Ash is acting a true mother, which is why she is not taking any film to work in. She would be seen in films and start shooting soon but no announcements have come out yet by Bachchans.There are rumors that she has signed a film with Shah Rukh Khan which will be produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. But Bachchans denied the reports. The sources claim that she has inked the deal and soon the shooting will start. Her hubby Abhishek’s career is on shaky position these days since he faced flops recently. He needs a hit desperately now to survive. He is struggling hard to get one.

Mumbai: For those that still do not know, the Golden Kela Awards are the equivalent of the American Razzies Awards, that are granted to the actors for their less than perfect acting skills. Manfredi misses expression of love in Aishwarya’s eyes

Well, Hollywood may be all praises for Aishwarya Rai’s beauty but the Bollywood queen is facing some harsh criticism from Italian historian and author of about 17 historical novels, Valerio Massimo Manfredi, for her acting in ‘The Last Legion’. The movie is an adaptation of Manfredi’s work and stars Aishwarya alongside Colin Firth and Ben Kingsley.

Manfredi said, “My character of the leading lady was totally different. She was from a village but Aishwarya was totally different. She was the lover of the protagonist…but she acted as if the film was for kids,” Manfredi is quoted to have told IANS.

Aishwarya’s emerald eyes did make a way into Manfredi’s heart but the author missed the expression of love in them.

“She has such strong expressive and beautiful eyes. Some little expression of love would have made the film more different,” Manfredi said adding, “I have noticed that everybody who has not read the book liked the film and those who read the book did not like the movie.
